Mission Statement
Mission Statement: God's Church of Deliverance is a Bible-based church which exists to evangelize the lost, to serve our communities, to promote the praise and worship of God, to teach God's Word with a focus on family ministry and discipleship, while empowering members of all ages with godly principles, life-changing relationships, and skills for today's issues.
Statement of Faith:
The Bible is the inspired and only authoritative Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16)
That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: The Father (God), The Son (Jesus Christ) and The Holy Spirit (I John 5:4-8) (The word "Trinity" is not found in The Bible but the principle, the concept, the Truth, the understanding is there. God clearly confirms the truth of "The Trinity" in His word. (Genesis 1:1-3, 26; Matthew 3:16-17; John 14:16, 26; John 15:26; Galatians 4:4-6)
In the deity (Divine Nature) of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death, His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of The Father and His personal return in power and glory. (I Corinthians 15:3; I Peter 2:21-24; John 3:16)
That regeneration (to restore, make new) by The Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for salvation of lost and sinful man. (Romans 3:21-20; Galatians 4:4-7)
In the personal baptism of The Holy Spirit, and in the gifts of The Holy Spirit as available for believers today. (Acts1:8; 2:4; 2:42-43; 10:44-46; 19:2,6; Matthew 3:11; I Corinthians 14:1-5)
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that they are saved unto the resurrection of life; and that they are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:24, 28-29)
That deliverance from sickness is provided for the atonement and is the privilege of all believers. (Isaiah 53:4; Matthew 8:16-17; I Peter 2:24)
In the imminent return (Second Coming) of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. ( I Thessalonians 4:13-17; Revelation 22:7, 12)
In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ(Ephesians 4:15-16;Philippians 2:1-2)
In baptism by immersion (Water Baptism) Matthew 28:19; Matthew 3:13-17; Romans 6:3-5,8; Colossians 2:12; I Peter 3:12
In the Sacrament of The Lord's Supper (Communion) Matthew 26:26; Mark 14:22; Luke 22:19; I Corinthians 10:16; 11:23
